Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress who achieved fame for her role in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun and Beta Saajan. She was first known for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred alongside an established actor Anil Koopor. Then she appeared in the movie Dil In which she starred alongside Aamir Khan. Born into an Mumbai middle class family and began dancing at a young age. When she was young began acting, but was not successful as a lot films she made were not successful. She finally found success, and became one of the top actresses within the Indian film industry. In the aftermath of her wedding, she took a brief absence from acting prior to returning. Recently, she played a major performance on the film Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women across India. Dixit received the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen she was nominated for. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India - was given to Dixit. In addition, she has been recognized for her efforts in the social sector.
